Privacy notice

What personal data we collect when you buy, register or service a machine with us, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Issued under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Last updated 5 Nov 2026

1. Who we are

This notice is issued by FOZ One ("we", "us"), the seller of the machines on this site and the business that registers their warranty and repairs them. Our registered details are printed on every invoice we issue.

2. What we collect

  • Who you are: your name, email address and mobile number.
  • Where to deliver: your delivery and billing addresses.
  • What you bought: your orders, invoices, payments, returns, and the serial number of each machine.
  • Warranty and service: warranty registrations, claims, repair bookings and the notes our technicians make on them.
  • Tax details: where you ask for an e-invoice in your name, your tax identification number and the details LHDN requires on it.
  • What you send us: reviews, messages to our support assistant, and anything you tell us when you contact us.
  • Marketplace orders: when you buy through a marketplace such as Shopee or Lazada, the order and delivery details that marketplace passes to us.

We do not ask for, and do not want, your card number. Payments are taken by our payment provider, who tells us only whether a payment succeeded.

3. Why we use it

  • To take, deliver and invoice your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
  • To register your warranty, honour claims, and book and carry out repairs.
  • To tell you about your order, delivery, warranty or repair by email or SMS.
  • To issue invoices and e-invoices and keep the records Malaysian tax law requires.
  • To answer your questions and improve our products and service.
  • To send you offers and news, only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time from your account or from the link in any marketing message.

4. Who we share it with

Only those who need it to do the job: delivery and logistics partners, our payment provider, the marketplace you ordered through, our authorised service centres, the providers who send our emails and SMS, and Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) for e-invoicing. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account or a machine under our warranty, and after that for as long as the law requires. Invoices and the records behind them are kept for seven years. When you ask us to erase your data, we remove you from those records and keep only what the law obliges us to keep.

6. Your rights

  • Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: ask us to correct data that is wrong, incomplete or out of date. Most of it you can change yourself in your account.
  • Withdraw consent: stop marketing at any time, or ask us to stop processing your data. We may then be unable to provide some services, such as warranty support.
  • Erasure: ask us to erase your data, subject to what we must keep by law.

We answer requests within 21 days. We may ask you to prove who you are first.

7. Is it required?

The details marked as required in our forms are needed to deliver an order, register a warranty or book a repair. Without them we cannot do that for you. Everything else is optional.

8. Security

Your data is held on access-controlled systems. Staff see only what their role needs, and every change to a record is logged.

9. Contact us

Send requests and questions about your personal data to info@fozgroup.com, with "PDPA" in the subject.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
